Business start-ups are often unaware of the intricacies of financing, governmental regulations and operational details. Understanding the stock market and other financial markets is important for success as an individual investor. This course teaches the fundamentals of the stock market and how financial instruments are bought and sold. Restricted to: Community Colleges only.
BMGT 244. Personal Stock Portfolio Analysis - 3 cr.
Analyzing stock portfolios to determine value, potential growth and worth is an important skill for entrepreneurs and investors. Various techniques are taught that assist in evaluating stock value and determining which meet individual investment goals. Restricted to: Community Colleges only.

Evaluation and financial appraisal of commercial real property preparatory to the sales process is an important skill for real estate developers and managers.
